CONTRAST PREVIEW IS HERE!!

Starting off this series is the title image, for without which, the series would seem incomplete. The image is of Kaiba Seto, giving off that really cold glare that he's just so good at. The image was sketched, scanned, and then coloured in Open Canvas 1.1. I actually had to redraw the eyes, nose, and lips directly on the computer, because I had to remove a lot of the pencil lines from his skin (though they still remain in his hair and shirt), and these features just looked weird with the outlines.

After colouring the image in Open Canvas, I then took it to Adobe Photoshop 6.0, where I resized the image and then toggled with the Halftone Sketch Filter, then did a "Fade" Effect setting it on "Multiply". After that, I went and gave it a blue & cyan tint in the variations option. Then I had the fun of figuring out the font to use, colour of said font, and placing of said font. I tried something a tad fancy, but felt it would be too garish so I chose the arial font--simple, but effective. Choosing the colours was a bitch, though...needed it to stand out well enough to be noticed and not blend in with the BG too well. Positioning it was the easiest part. I originally wanted to put 'Contrast' on this, but decided to leave it out. I may readd it later.

Overall, I rather like the result. Kaiba's lips are so pouty looking...I've been doing that to him as of late. ^^;; I am considering using the original full-colour version of this image for the layout of my website when I update it, so look out for that. ^^
